At a glance, it seems like there’s not much that the Black Eyed Peas, Ugly Kid Joe and the Village People have in common. Yet one thing is that they’ll all be at Hungary’s FEZEN Festival in Székesfehérvár on the last weekend of July. If so will you, you can catch the concerts of altogether some 100 performers, dance until dawn at great parties and then get some rest at the refurbished and comfortable camping area.

While Hungary boasts some famous major music festivals you’ve probably heard of, like Sziget Festival or Balaton Sound, there are some smaller and quainter ones definitely worth exploring, too. For instance, FEZEN Festival is being organised for the 26th time this year between 26-29 July, where some 100 local and international performers will step on stagegreat parties will entertain crowds until down and a newly refurbished camping area will provide a perfect spot for getting some rest. Székesfehérvár is only about an hour away from Budapest towards Lake Balaton, so the journey can be comfortably made by train, bus, or car.

FEZEN will have one main stage and a huge concert tent that can fit 7000 people.

The biggest performance yet

At the festival’s press conference, the main organiser Antal Kovács highlighted that the Black Eyed Peas will throw the biggest show FEZEN has ever seen. The six-time Grammy Award winner hip hop and pop group will shake up the crowd with all-time favourites like Pump It, Where Is The Love or Boom Boom Pow.

Rocking the stage

If you’re after some rowdy rock music, don’t miss the concerts of German power and speed metal legends Helloween and Swedish heavy-metal band Hammerfall. The USA’s East Coast will be represented by hardcore/ punk band Cro-Mags from New York City, while from the West Coast, Californian hard-rock group Ugly Kid Joe will also hit the stage.

After the concerts and dancing all night, you can rest at the camping area, which will be located right next to the festival and the parking lot. The camping will have running water in the showers and toilets, and there will also be an area for warming up your food. A small festival store will also be operating on-site so you can get the essentials within the festival grounds.
