On almost every façade of Budapest, behind every entrance, hidden over every doorway, are striking mosaics and beautifully crafted reliefs. Some are themed according to the occupation of the previous owner of the building, the Habsburg-era gentlemen who commissioned them in the first place. Our photographers went out to capture those urban features with exotic maritime themes.
Take a look at these delicately carved façades and reliefs, spotted around town by our eagle-eyed photographers and each with an unusual maritime theme.
