Bicycles and shared scooters can now be parked at more than 300 locations around downtown Budapest. Mobi Points will help eliminate the chaos of discarded scooters currently littering the streets. For now, sites have been set up in Pest Districts V, V, VI, VII, VIII and IX. Although the notices are currently Hungarian-only, you just need to look out for the green sign and park through your scooter server’s app. Private bikes and scooters can also be accommodated.

Budapest’s new Mobi Points are a couple of minutes’ walk from each other, meaning you can pick up or drop off your shared scooter within easy reach of where you are – in Pest, at least. The scheme should be expanding soon.

From 1 June, on the Pest side, you will only be allowed to leave your shared scooter at designated Mobi Points.
