Star chef Lajos Bíró is opening a pop-up eatery atop Fény utca market, a popular weekend destination for shoppers seeking quality produce. Tomorrow, Saturday, 30 April, Bíró's rooftop Buja Disznó-k restaurant will be offering champagne, sandwiches and fine snacks from 10am. Also known as Napozó, hinting at its attraction as a sunbathing spot, the facility will then operate at various times as the weather warms up.

“The Fény utcai piac will host a lot of cultural activities, but I’m convinced that the market can be much more than just a place to buy high-quality goods, it can easily be a meeting point and a communal space. The rooftop will open on 30 April, and the market will turn into a recreational spot, where music, barbecues, refreshments and children's activities await," writes District II mayor, Gergely Őrsi.

With breaded meat its main focus, Buja Disznó-k is overseen by star chef Lajos Bíró, once responsible for the renowned Bock Bisztró at the Budapest Corinthia Hotel.
