It seems there’s a lot happening at the Northern Vehicle Repair depot in Kőbánya these days. First the Opera House opened its workshop there then, more recently, the Diesel Hall anticipated the future opening of the new Transport Museum with an exhibition of old locomotives and train repair works.
Next to them, somewhat incongruously, will be the new Kertem, hippyish and dog-friendly in its previous iteration, known for its Balkan burgers and eclectic dance music. The exact opening date isn’t yet known but with August soon upon us, it should be soon.
