With borders opening at last and summer upon us, Brno-based RegioJet is running to a number of attractive destinations by rail at knockdown prices from Budapest. Services include night trains to the Croatian coast. Tickets are being sold in four categories: business, relax, standard and low-cost. Book early, and you can get to Prague for €16!

As of this month, Central-European rail company RegioJet is celebrating the opening up of borders in the region by offering cut-price journeys from Budapest to major destinations, historic capitals and coastal getaways. Book early enough online, and you can find €16 tickets to Prague and €9 to Vienna, as well as night services to Rijeka and Split on the Adriatic coast.

Music and movies play in standard compartments and up, and free Illy coffee and mineral water are distributed to all passengers. It’s Buck’s fizz and cakes in business class. Travellers may also buy food, from salads to sushi. There’s WiFi on board, and seats can be reserved at no extra cost.
