Orsi Antal never liked to dress normally, but has long been aware that it wasn’t easy to find special clothes that make her feel good. She has been keeping her eye on smaller brands and specialty stores ever since.
She started thinking about running her own business three years ago. During the pandemic restrictions, she attended stylist training, where she gained extensive knowledge in fashion photography and marketing.
After gaining the new qualification, she set up her own shop, where you can currently choose from 24 pieces by domestic designers. The range is likely to expand, and Orsi is also planning her own brand.
If you’re looking for a super item to help you stand out from the crowd, this is the place to find it. Suitable for all ages, futuristic clothes by SustiKKrisztA are usually made of water-repellent material, while IRON the label make handmade, warm, oversized puffer jackets.
Because Orsi considers environmental awareness important, several designers are involved in some form of recycling. Bags and holders by Smörgås Clothes, for example, include the belt bag reconfigured from one of those giant blue IKEA bags.
You can also find T-shirts by Hiraeth Clothes, sweaters and colourful, knitted jackets from ESZKA, decorated with huge geometric patterns. Among other pieces inspired by geometric shapes, a favourite is the Daemon Bag, made of coloured, often shiny, leather show, which goes with virtually anything and can be used to liven up a variety of outfits.
When Orsi started to take an interest in special, more radical pieces, one of the first brands she liked was Pleasure, so now she’s so excited to be able to showcase their work at her store. Many colourful, often neon, pieces evoke pop art, ’80s and techno culture.
The best thing about a store is that you can find inspiration from top
to bottom if you want something out there. For jewellery, there are accented
earrings by RebekArts, for lingerie, Between, and for men’s clothing, Pastello.
Belts by Jacqueline the rebel bring out your inner party demon, and illegal visual tops and bags are must-haves for festive season. Neon-coloured UV-active paintings by Anna Tóth and Veronika Zöld Zelena hang on the walls.
Even dogs can get in on the act, with clothes made of colourful, puffy, reflective material, plus neon collars and leashes.
