Visitors will soon be able to take in a stunning panorama from the perspective of two new roof terraces due to open atop the Crowne Plaza Budapest, a high-end hotel alongside Nyugati station. Views from the Cult restaurant and the Club Lounge were captured by photographer Gergely Jancsó, and feature the historic rail terminus in the foreground and the classic sights of Budapest on the horizon.

See how the recent renovation of Nyugati station has brought this Eiffel-made masterpiece back to life in Gergely Jancsó’s photos. The station hall and roof structure are now complete, the entire steel framework given protective paint of uniform blue in three layers.

Around Nyugati tér rises the Skála Metro department store and beyond, the Basilica, Parliament and the Statue of Lady Liberty atop Gellért Hill.

The rooftop dining and drinking destinations of the Cult restaurant and the Club Lounge should be unveiled in early 2022, both integral to the 230-room Crowne Plaza Budapest, which had its soft opening this summer.
