Masks to be mandatory in indoor spaces from Friday midnight

From midnight this Friday, 19 November, the use of masks will be mandatory in indoor spaces and Immunity Certificates will be required for events attended by more than 500 people.

With Covid infection numbers rising, the government has increased restrictions on mask-wearing in public. From midnight on Friday, 19 November, everyone must wear masks indoors, apart from in offices and sports facilities.

In addition, Immunity Certificates will be required for events attracting more than 500 attendees.
