If you were to make a top list of the city’s most impressive restaurants, the one at the Párisi Udvar Hotel Budapest would surely be at the forefront. As well as attracting tourists, the beautiful passage also wows locals, with special gastronomic experiences to follow. The novelties of the autumn menu are again based on Hungarian, French and sophisticated international culinary arts, under the direction of executive chef Lajos Lutz.

Here, knowledge of new trends and the nurturing of tradition combine in a cosmopolitan, spirited atmosphere. Among the key ingredients of the new à la carte menu are mangalica pork chop from Debrecen, truffle honey from Zemplén and juicy shredded peppered beef prepared in a smoker. But vegan dishes have also been added to the new menu – inspired by the Middle East and superfoods.

It’s worth taking a closer look at the contemporary beef bourguignon, as well as one of the city’s most outstanding Wiener schnitzels and Bresse chickens, at the Párisi Passage Café & Brasserie.

The French-style dessert selection, complemented by assorted and roasted coffees sourced from around the Hungarian capital, remains first-class.
