Geometrically abstract works by Hungarian contemporary artist János Fajó has inspired the uniquely colourful new autumn/winter collection of NUBU, key fashion outlet on showcase boulevard Andrássy út.

Judit Garam, the driving force behind NUBU, has been a fan of Hungarian fine arts from the very beginning so it no a surprise that her clothing brand has launched several themed collections inspired by various artists

This time the transition between different branches of art was undertaken with the posthumous help of János Fajó, the award-winning contemporary artist, whose repetitive structures of empirical and geometric elements suit the strict lines and minimalist world of NUBU.

The collection with its vivid colours should cheer up the grey winter days of those who wear them.

In co-operation with the Fajó Foundation, NUBU has also created an exhibition where not only the new autumn/winter collection can be seen, but also János Fajó's screen prints and sculptural legacy. It's on view until 10 January 2022.
