The world’s most famous waxworks museum, London’s Madame Tussauds, is opening a branch on Dorottya utca, in the heart of Budapest, in 2022.
The new exhibition space will be one of two-dozen franchise outlets stretching from Bangkok to Washington. Contemporary and historical Hungarian personalities are sure to feature, musicians, sportsmen and politicians.
It's not yet clear how many international figures will be included – the Vienna branch, which opened ten years ago, has Hollywood and music sections to showcase major US and UK stars.
