Thursday live music shows have proved hugely popular in Ferencváros, District IX. Today, until 7pm, locals can look forward to the retro dance of Norbert Galát, jazz/Gypsy rhythms of Something Swing and sweet songs by Csilla Szabó. Have a look at our photos from last week’s event!
Last week we reported how the District IX council was organising live shows for locals enjoying the music from their balconies. We sent our photographer Sándor Csudai to visit the scene and capture the excitement.
These special mobile concerts are held on Thursdays between 3pm and 7pm. The vehicles, permits and speakers are provided by the council, and artists are paid for their work.
