Find Freyja’s fine croissants in Buda this weekend

Combine a refreshing hike in the Buda hills this weekend with a delicious culinary experience as popular Scando-style bakery Freyja try out a new location from tomorrow, Friday, open until Sunday afternoon.

The team behind Freyja have been up to something in Buda for some time, looking to expand with a new outlet near Apáthy rock and the Wekerle estate on Napraforgó utca.

The opening was originally scheduled for earlier in the autumn, but had to be postponed due to the current restrictions. According to their Facebook page, however, you can finally enjoy their wonderful crescent-shaped treats at their new location over the weekend, as a test run.

The suitably Scandinavian-style wooden outlet can be found near the tennis courts at Vadaskerti utca 1, offering everything from their original venue in Szövetség utca in Pest. They will be open Friday (8am-3pm), Saturday and Sunday (both days 8am-2pm). Only takeaway and cash payments will be possible for the time being.
