The festival offers 5,000 tickets per film to viewers across Europe, which will most likely run out rather fast, so register now while you can. The selection includes films previously showcased at prestigious festivals – Berlin, Cannes, Venice, Locarno – but somehow haven’t attracted the same attention from cinemas in Europe.
Works by ten young filmmakers make up the festival’s selection in 2020,
all shown for free in 45 European countries during the month of December, to
those registering online. The ten feature-length films, created in ten
different countries and available in ten different languages, pay homage to the
cultural and linguistic diversity found across Europe.
This year, the media
partners are the Hungarian film distributors magyarhangya and Filmhu, who
specifically recommend the films Cat in the Wall, Ivana the Terrible, Son of
Sofia and Motherland.
