Calling itself a secret garden, new nightspot and music venue Majomhoz has made no secret of its regular agenda of sounds – acoustic on Tuesdays, party on Thursdays, fiesta! on Fridays, swing on Saturdays and vocals/guitar on Sundays – that fill out most of the week.
Decent wines are served by the roving outlet of renowned DiVino, while the food is handled by the familiar Burger Market trucks from Király utca. The festival atmosphere, compensating for the lack of large-scale live venues this summer, is echoed by the payment system, by credit card only. Glasses should be taken back and redeemed for tokens, and separate staff deal with all the washing-up.
Open-air cinema is also being organised, as well as other entertainment as the summer pans out. Watch this space!
