Almost exactly five years after the opening of their first outlet on downtown Paulay Ede utca, popular confectionery DesszertNeked have opened a second location on the Buda side.

Found on the ground floor of the Allee shopping mall, the new DesszertNeked is more intimate than its sister venue but manages to offer the bulk of its popular dessert range, the selection chosen according to local demand and favourites.

The smaller size is balanced out by a sophisticated layout, with a wooden interior and an elegant, minimalistic façade, reflecting what their desserts are all about: simple with top-quality ingredients. But, of course, simple doesn’t mean boring – classic desserts get a fun new twist, while novelties follow the French confectionery tradition in taste and presentation.

Although you can choose to grab a dessert and a coffee – mildly roasted Pellini – for lounging around a little, the location is best suited for buying on-the-go. While there are no full-size cakes on display, they can be ordered one or two days in advance, and you can ask for personalised decorations.

Apart from Hungarian and French confectioneries, mousses and signature desserts, there are plenty of biscuits and macarons, and you can also find the items you need to decorate a cake at home.
