Formerly gracing a small gallery level of the Typo Bar by the Communist-era Corvin Department Store, Typo Showroom for vintage apparel has reopened within the same district on Krúdy Gyula utca. This new outlet provides a more spacious place to present the brand’s quality second-hand merchandise and classic pieces, including jeans by Esprit, outerwear by Moncler and bags by H.ELIX. Also part of the new business model are badge-making workshops.

A jungle-themed silk shirt and a ’70s-style suede jacket are just two of the distinct pieces in the selection of Typo Showroom, stocking men’s and women’s collections. The fact that the current merchandise is heavy on winter coats from brands such as Max Mara, Moncler and Canada Goose indicates that Typo founders Virág and Andi are committed to offering high-standard labels.

Even if you come here just for a browse or with a specific style in mind, you’re likely to find something, be it a pair of handmade cowboy boots or a retro sailing jacket designed by the Helly Hansen brand.

Follow Typo on Instagram, where the hippest styles are featured as soon as they hit the shop floor. And if you can’t decide whether those Levi’s jeans are the best fit, just ask the staff to give you some styling tips.
