Nowadays, when you can get speciality brews at newspaper stands, cafés must offer more, in terms of offer, atmosphere and location. Take Bloom Coffee, for example, only a few minutes’ walk from the Buda Castle Quarter. István Miklósik and Orsolya started out dealing with new-wave coffee when working at Tamp & Pull. However, their passion to move up to another level was has now taken a more serious step with Bloom Coffee. It keeps in mind that people with different wishes can choose from more options without having to go deeper into their pockets.

As István Miklósik and Orsolya tell us, “For some reason at the time, we decided to go into our own private business. After our family, this is our second love. Bloom is meant to be a place where the guest has a longer, more satisfying experience, not just starting the day with a quick coffee”.

According to the couple, every effort has been made to find something that can or can be eaten in the product range, whatever your dietary requirements. This not only means that there is, for example, vegetable milk or gluten-free sandwiches, but a choice between sweet or salty, meat or vegetarian breakfasts. Breads and sandwiches come from Marmorstein, gluten-free ones from Free, pastries from The Mill, while sweet treats such as vegan coconut cubes from La Vita, Dynamo Bake and Hacuki Sütibolt.

With regard to caffeine, for the time being, you can opt for either La Cabra and April Coffee Roasters. You can even ask for a sampling menu (850 HUF), to see if one tastes better with milk or without. Lactose-free and other ingredient-free milks do not cost extra, only variants such as the almond variety. Soft drinks by SUPERJUICE include squeezed fruit served cold and vegetable juices.

In summer, you can also find ice cream from Fragola. Plans include expansion into alcohol with artisanal beers and wines.
