DJs and cocktail promotions brighten summer days and nights aboard the A38 Ship, a one-time Ukrainian stone-carrying barge, now a popular Budapest concert venue and entertainment center. Celebrating its 15th year on the Danube, A38 has free events on its bow terrace every day of the week through summer, all accompanied by music and intoxicating drinks. Renowned music masters start spinning discs every afternoon late into the night. Expect good vibes, a cool crowd and a beautiful Danube panorama.
Mondays to Sundays, DJs from a variety of genres play hot mixes above the Danube to entertain A38 guests and if you order cocktails until 7pm, you get two drinks for the price of one.
Mondays are for house and tech house by Mariposas, Tuesdays Gelkaand Forteba brings chill out Audiodiary and on Wednesdays hip-hop and funk music are played by Slanki and Johnny Drama. Every Thursday, the Bedroom DJs help you dive into deep house, while Fridays Bladerunnaz virtuosos present liquid and soul drum and bass.
On weekends, the Lick The Click group get you moving to house and techno, while guests enjoy the popular Sunday Session series by DJ Palotai.
Events start every afternoon at 5pm and run until 10pm, except on Saturday when good times on the ship begin at 2pm. Concerts are also streamed live on the A38 Facebook page.
