The annual online survey to select the best Budapest nightlife locale is back and running. The 2018 questionnaire sponsored by Heineken is now open for anyone to cast their vote. To nominate a Budapest hangout, participants are required to register online at bpna.hu/en and appoint one, two or maximum three places in a given category that includes best bar, best Budapest festival, best small club, best wine bar, best pub, best concert venue, best big club, best ruin bar, best outdoor venue, best LGBTQ event venue, best party organizer crew and best craft beer bar.
Voting runs through February 22nd, with polling closing at midnight. As a major partner of the event, We Love Budapest will present the award to the venue that comes first in the best craft beer bar category. Winners will be announced one by one for each section at the ceremony taking place at Instant on February 23rd from 8pm. Renowned Hungarian jazz musician Lőrinc Barabás will also be performing, while famed DJs will be spinning discs late into the night – admission is free. Establishments selected in each category earn the right to promote themselves as a Heineken Budapest Nightlife Awards winner for the year to come.
