We like Házikó’s Farmbistro because behind the delicious soups, sandwiches, and cakes, it works towards a conscious and loveable concept: connecting the countryside with the city by purchasing the products of Hungarian primary producers, and using these organic ingredients to make vegetable or meat batyus, quiches, sandwiches, and desserts with plenty of fruit. By purchasing from primary producers, they contribute to rural development – and by sharing these products with us, they also involve us in the project. Plus, we know the exact origins of the food that we eat.
We already explored the Farmbistro restaurant on Dembinszky Street, and we were happy to hear about the opening of another unit, this time in Buda. The news took another exciting turn when we discovered that this new bistro is going to work together with MagNet Bank on Bartók Béla Boulevard. This isn’t the first such initiative from the bank: two years ago, they established their first “community bank and café” branch with EcoCafé between Jászai Mari Square and Kossuth Lajos Square.
These businesses are connected by a sense of responsibility and the search for sustainable development opportunities, and we find it very sympathetic that their concept can come to fruition in the form of such a pleasant atmosphere. The bank’s financial facilities are present here in a very discreet way, yet they remain easily accessible: business meetings can be conducted either at the tables at the end of the room or behind two closed doors.
Naturally, the use of the banking service isn’t compulsory. In fact, the two businesses operate next to each other but independently – the bistro’s opening hours are longer. So, no one will give you weird looks if instead of making a deposit, you’d prefer to just drink a glass of organic fruit juice or a cup of coffee. The bottom line is: welcome to Bartók Boulevard, Farmbistro!
