For a long time now, Budapest’s most famous ruin pub – Szimpla Kert – hosts a farmer’s market every Sunday morning, featuring locally grown fruits and vegetables alongside Magyar-made treats like jams, sausages, cheeses, and much more. Usually the producers proffer their tasty goods themselves and proudly present samples of their merchandise, but hungry customers still had to wait until they could take their purchases home and cook up something before digging into a proper meal - but with the recent introduction of a Sunday-brunch buffet at Szimpla, visitors can now feast right there and then.
