Many of our Italian pizza-fanatic friends have been telling us that in outer Pest’s District XV, there is a place where they bake fantastic pizza from quality ingredients, complete with heart, soul, and expertise. So, we took the trip away from downtown to visit Kemencés Pizza, where the raw pizza-dough disc with mouthwatering toppings turned into a steaming Italian favorite in front of our eyes, with a thin crust and cheese so gooey like what you only see in advertisements. But nothing is fake here – their mastery needs to be tasted. Believe us, it’s worth the journey.
