According to BP Clothing, the “Stakes Is High” collection represents a whole new level of quality, featuring US camouflage, flannel and oxford shirts, reflective prints, and redesigned basic pieces. The apparel is made with material that is so soft, we could stroke it for hours at a recent Sneak Peek event, where we discovered that our favorite pieces were the ones emblazoned with the print of the classic Yawning Apprentice painting by 19th-century Hungarian artist MihályMunkácsy. Uniqueness is important for the brand, so only a limited number of every piece will go on sale – even though that number is higher than what was offered in BP Shop’s earlier collections. (Nonetheless, customers won’t have to worry about running into similarly dressed locals all around Budapest.) The countdown has started – keep watching the store windows at Wesselényi Street, Árkád, and WestEnd in early October!
Inspired by the legendary hip-hop group De La Soul, Budapest’s own BP Shop also wants you to know that “stakes is high”: in early October they will debut a new clothing collection, titled after the musical trio’s breakthrough single. The 2015 autumn/winter-season pieces are the brand’s highest-quality clothes to date, styled with a much wider design palette than the brand’s previous lines. Apart from BP Shop’s well-known and unique caps, long-sleeve shirts, and outerwear, the new collection includes bags, pants, and winter jackets.
