Until 9 May the exhibition showcasing the first five years of the Budapest100 event is free to enter. The special exhibition showcases beautiful photos of various 100-year-old buildings that have taken part in Budapest100, an event which opens up the city's century-old buildings to the public. This exhibition, which is also in one of the city's most beautiful libraries, provides a glimpse at the preparations and the special programs of Budapest100 so that you can get your bearings ahead of the event itself.

We can hardly wait for this weekend, because finally we get to wander into many of the old buildings we would otherwise rarely get to enter. Budapest100 is an event that opens up many of the city's more than 100-year-old buildings to the general public. Apart from guided tours and special programs organised by volunteers, we have also tried to introduce some of the buildings involved like the Mellinger House on Ráday Street, a family villa on Szirtes Road and the Palace Of Justice.

If you're thinking of checking out Budapest100 this weekend, it pays to start at the Szabó Ervin Library so you have a full picture of what Budapest100 is all about.
