brutal confrontation between dance and music
.”

Vandekeybus found his inspiration for the piece in
fateful moments
; moments in which
it''s too late for choices
. He doesn''t want to emphasise the meaning of such moments, but their
radicalism
. Vandekeybus’ dancers go to the very brink in their
exploration of danger
– and their last minute escapes create an
impressive range of scenic moments
. This remake, with a new cast, provides the ideal opportunity to discover Vandekeybus’ early work or to simply relieve his iconic performance.
