A hilly area between
Gellért Hill
and
Castle Hill
,
Tabán
is a historic and spacious park that has been an important venue of Hungarian popular music since the 1970s.

Along with the “veterans”, younger bands are also regularly featured, so that the more fresh-faced generation can get acquainted with the music of the previous generation, and that older fans can learn about today’s music. Due to broad public interest, the most loved performers of
popular music
have been asked to take the stage, giving both young and old music lovers, and the fans of more mellow tunes and tough rock’n’roll something to enjoy. The
festival
is a meeting place of the different generations of Hungarian popular music where getting to perform is a real honour.
