On March 20, a
partial solar eclipse
will be visible from Hungary as well: the moon will “bite off” two-thirds of the sun, making it look like a wide sickle for a couple of hours (
from 9.30 am until noon
). The Hungarian Academy of Sciences will set up eight telescopes in the parking lot in front of their
Széchenyi tér
seat where astronomers will lead a sky gazing session if the weather conditions allow.
