Following the launch of its Design Exchange series last year, W Budapest continues to spotlight both local and international creatives through curated exhibitions and community events. This summer, the spotlight turns to visual artist and designer kissmiklos, whose thought-provoking exhibition Just Decoration takes over the hotel’s spaces from 12 June for five weeks.
Blurring the lines between fine art and aesthetic ornament, the exhibition invites viewers to question what truly defines art. Through unique narratives and striking visuals placed throughout the hotel, Just Decoration challenges conventional boundaries—asking whether what we see is deeper than decoration, or if beauty alone is enough.
