Kékfrankos MOST!
(Blaufränkisch NOW!) is a month-long event series that is all about the versatile grape variety Blaufränkisch, with wine tastings and wine dinners organized all across the country in April. The tasting featuring an unprecedented number of Blaufränkisch wines will take place at
Sofitel Budapest
on 25 April, before the 4-day break.

Blaufränkisch is the most widely cultivated dark-skinned grape variety in Hungary, grown everywhere outside the wine regions exclusively dedicated to white grapes. The variety can be used for the production of an astonishing variety of wines, as it can yield several types of nectar. Blaufränkisch is often used to make rosé and schiller wines, as well as different red varieties, ranging from light and fruity wines for everyday use to heavier, premium items conveying terroir characteristics – Kékfrankos MOST! endeavours to showcase all these complexities.
