The Independent Label Fair (ILF) is a platform created to showcase Hungary’s independent record labels. Returning for the ninth time on 6 September, the event takes over the House of Music Hungary with a record fair, live concerts, DJ sets, an awards ceremony, exhibition openings, plus children’s activities and workshops. Professional roundtables and talks also feature on the programme, rounded off with an afterparty to close the day. Visitors can buy releases directly from the labels — supporting them first-hand — and even pick up limited, one-of-a-kind collector’s items not available in shops. Entry is free.
