The
inaugural
Fish and Wild Meat Festival
will be held on September 19, 20, and 21 in
City Park
, at
Vajdahunyad
Castle
. The festival is a collaboration of two large-scale events; the purpose of the
Budapest Fish Festival
and the
Easter Lamb Festival
is to familiarize visitors with the natural foodstuffs found in most forests and their beneficial effects. Within the frameworks of the Fish and Wild Meat Festival, visitors will have the opportunity to taste our famous Hungaricum, fish soup, with the seasonings of different regions, as well. Faithful to the customs of the Budapest Fish Festival, the fish street-food restaurant of Budapest will prepare special seafood dishes, sushi, Pad Thai noodles, caviar, and fish & chips for the event.
