Budapest is a candidate city for organizing the
2024 Summer Olympic and Paralympics Games
. In 2024 we can be the hosts of an event that would make the capital known everywhere in the world. Celebrate the Budapest 2024 candidacy so our champions can stand on the podium in their home court in 2024.

You can try 8 sports at 8 locations.




  • Basketball at egyetem Square


Street ball and youth league free training all day long, Face Team acrobatic shows, and a chance to meet with Márton Báder and Zoltán Boros.



  • Fencing at Március 15. Square


Try different types of fencing with Olympians and professional trainers. You can meet with Olympian Bence Szabó and other athletes, and you can also watch their matches. You can win gifts if you participate in the quiz game.



  • Table tennis at Gozsdu Udvar


You can play table tennis all day long at the busiest place of Budapest. They will have displays, technical classes, and skills competitions. Check out Janika Faházi’s skills presentation, and if you are brave enough, you can even compete against him.



  • Water polo at Széchenyi Bath


Meet the Olympians of the present and the future in one of Europe’s most beautiful and largest thermal baths. Showcase and training in the large pool. Friendly games and quizzes all day long, and also the chance to meet the athletes.



  • Gymnastics at Erzsébet Square


Occupy the carpet and try various gymnastic tools, or hop on the trampoline. Presentations, exercises, practice for kindergarten groups all day long. You can meet Krisztián Berki, the Olympic gymnastic champion. 



  • Weightlifting at Belvárosi Piac


Be the one who lifts the heaviest fruit basket at our competition. Sport presentations, games, and competitions for gifts all day long. You can chat with the Rippel brothers and the Rippel Academy will be there.



  • Cycling at Erzsébet Square


You can try the backward going bike, race on a spinning bike, or check out the BMX shows. You can win gifts at the quiz!



  • Hello Budapest 2024! Party at Elizabeth Square // 6:30pm - 10pm
