Dancing curtains, balloons remote-controlled by miniature helicopters,
Space Odyssey
.

A
Norwegian-Japanese
production staged with the cooperation of
MOME
students.

Darkness, classical music tunes and gigantic balloons. Chords of the
Blue Danube Waltz
drift in the ether, and the curtains dance to the well known Strauss melody in the dance hall… After this extraordinary beginning, four performers take over the lead, accompanied by spherical sounds. The dancers appear on a darkened stage - they emerge as points of light and color accents and disappear again, leaving traces as they do. Through the composition of moving bodies combined with variable stage elements, an organic form appears - a setting that begins to breathe and come to life.
