At the 26th
Festival of Folk Arts
the performing artists and bands try to hold these aspects among their main aims.
The two inventions of the festival are implemented in this spirit as well.
The guests are going to be the best folklore bands and children dance groups, and they relieve the customs of the St. Stephen’s Day and the consecration of the new bread. On the opening day the participants of the Visiting
Budapest
– Expatriate Hungarian Youth Meeting representing their show, and foreigner bands will visit the
Caste of Buda
to give a concert.
During the four days of the festival the visitors can meet the best Hungarian folk musicians, singers, tale-tellers and dancers going to perform to make the festival worthy to its national and international fame. In addition, children programs, playhouses, common dance programs at the evenings are going to make the fair even more colorful.
