Dunapest
is a contemporary arts and urban planning
festival
in Budapest from June 16 to 19. The event series will give a regional perspective through its mostly free programs – all of them connected to the
Danube
in one way or another, whether it is the topic or the venue.
Besides the concerts, plays, art shows, literary readings, and movie screenings, the urban planning part of the festival will include such things as amateur shipbuilding workshops, discussions about the relationship of the city and water, and thematic urban walks that explore the Danube and the surroundings.
