Bread and Pastry Festival

The
Bread and Pastry Festival
will take place again at
Buda Castle
with the widest range of events and the widest product selection ever.  




At the second weekend of May, the country’s best
breads and pastries
will be put on display for the fourth time on the
Savoy Terrace
and the
terrace with the fishing boy fountain
. Peruse the products of famous bakers and bakeries, and sample the trademark sweet and savoury treats of Hungary’s various regions.
The spectacular Bread and Pastry Festival will have a wider scope this time, with countless exciting events awaiting the festivalgoing crowd. From 10am until 8pm high-quality folklore performances, ethnic dance shows and folk music bands, musical and operetta tunes will attract visitors to the famous monument. On the open-air stage, acclaimed artists and star performers will provide entertainment:

will play
Beatles songs
, while the
Abba Sisters
will present ABBA classics, of course. Games and prizes also await with
Endre Beleznay
hosting the festive activities.
