Those who visit the splendidly decorated new central square of Józsefváros, the renewed Horváth Mihály square and the market quare of the Palace District (Szabó Ervin square and Kálvin square) can experience a nostalgic
Christmas atmosphere
, and can wander around fairytale-like market stalls. The podium on Horváth Mihály square will provide space for storytellers, musicians, bands, and many others who will make the Christmas preparations and atmosphere even more joyful.




The
market
is not only attractive because of the scenery; the smell of tasty delicacies also entice visitors. Just "follow your nose" from Kálvin square to Szabó Ervin square, and you will soon find the little stands selling candied fruits, honey-roasted walnuts, Transylvanian milk loaf, roasted chestnuts and almonds, fried sausages, and cheeses. On cold winter nights a nice cup of punch of
mulled wine
can give you some warmth. At the Christmas market you can also find the perfect gifts for your loved ones. Apart from the goods of master craftsmen representing traditional values, you can also find original and creative items that can become just the perfect gift under the Christmas tree.
