This is one of the most romantic things to do in Budapest right now.
City Park is the most beloved green space on the Pest side, where you can easily spend a whole day exploring and relaxing - see here how. And since May 28th, you can add another exciting activity to your itinerary. The boating lake has just reopened for the season, offering some romantic rides backdropped by the Vajdahunyad Castle. So if that's something that floats your boat, check it out between 4 pm and 7:30 pm from Tuesday to Friday, and between 10 am and 8 pm on weekends!
Opening hours will change during the summer, and so will the rides: for now, only pedal boats are available (HUF 4,000), but SUP and boats will soon join the fleet, too. Keep an eye on the website.
