Cserpes has long been a beloved brand, café and breakfast place in Budapest. Now it’s aiming to attract aficionados of specialty coffee with two new-wave outlets set up in the city center. At CserpESSBE, you can sip on light-roast brews, and try many new tasty and healthy bites at two locations. Delicious Cserpes-brand dairy products and pastries will also be available.

With Budapest still riding the wave of a coffee revolution, trend-conscious Cserpes has just opened two specialty cafés in the city center, both operating under the same name. CserpESSBE on Kálvin Square and on Bank Street strives to deliver the same high-quality in its coffees as in its ever-popular and unique dairy products and pastries. If you try its new light-roast blend from El Salvador, you’ll be convinced that Cserpes is on the right track.

In addition, there are a few new products here that are not available at regular Cserpes cafés, such as smoothies, madártej, aka floating island, rice pudding with fruit, and various dips. Sandwiches also come in vegan versions, and the overall assortment is healthier and more upscale. These two cafés do not necessarily entice customers to spend hours over breakfast there, but rather grab something to go. This should change during the warmer months, when the outlet on Kálvin Square will be enhanced with a terrace.
