Classic is cool at Budapest’s Deák St. Kitchen

Final preparations for the grand opening of Budapest’s new Ritz-Carlton hotel are now under way within its landmark building overlooking Erzsébet Square, and on Saturday the property’s premier restaurant – the Deák St. Kitchen on Fashion Street – first opened its doors to the public for a special “sneak peek” event. Curious to check out this eagerly anticipated eatery, we visited the Deák St. Kitchen undercover to test their food and cocktails, and although the complete menu is not yet finalized, we are already impressed by the cuisine’s excellent quality and the interior’s classic grace.
