Vivacious Irish food blogger Donal Skehan dropped by District VIII’s traditional Central European and Jewish restaurant Fülemüle, along with the kitchen where skilled confectioner Ráchel Raj makes her signature Jewish flódni cakes, before continuing the trip with some tasty lángos and a visit to stylish candy shop Cukorka. Later, the young gastro enthusiast met up with renowned chef Lajos Bíró for some pálinka, paprika chicken, and Gypsy music at the local Gourmet Festival, and even visited the Gellért Bath for a thermal-water soak with popular Hungarian gastro blogger András Jókuti. All in all, it looks like Skehan just can’t get enough of the culinary delights and architecture of the Magyar metropolis.
