Budapest Design Map is about design related venues in Budapest in 17 different categories, making life easier for those who don't want to get lost during Design Week.
The 130 venues can be searched for by category, location, name, and all of them has a brief introduction with contacts, address and opening hours, free of any unncessarry information. This is a real gift then we want to find something fast.
In order to be able to download the app you’re going to need WiFi access. That is good for tourist with their roaming bill getting fat abroad, and since they are the major target group, the Design Map can be used perfectly well in offline mode too. Probably after learning all this, it’s no surprise that the app’s in English.
Design Map can be found in phisical form as well, for example in Design Terminal and at the design spots listed on the map.
Budapest Design Map will be a very important part of this year’s Design Week between the 27th of September and the 6th of October.
