One of the most atmospheric hangouts in District VIII, Hintaló ('rocking horse'), is just a few minutes from Blaha Lujza tér. Once a cramped spot with ruin-bar tendencies, it has since been reconfigured and expanded to accommodate far more people, but still feels like a house party. Their whisky, vodka, gin and rum assortment is impressively wide, the beer is decent and prices reasonable. The music matters too. Becoming a regular is all too easy.
