Cserpes by focal Deák tér opened after the success of the dairy farm in Kapuvár, the Cserpes Cheese Shop and the Cserpes Trudi, a curd-and-chocolate bar of the variety revered in Hungary. The lamps at this cosy, galleried venue are made from milk glasses, and the tray collectors are metal crates. They offer various menus: the shakes, plain or grilled sandwiches and yoghurts all provide a perfectly good reason to visit. For breakfast, recommended are the best chocolate rolls in town, while the mangalica, salami or sausage sandwiches make for a great lunch.
