The lines between men’s and women’s fashion have disappeared almost entirely in the past few years, with an increasing number of designers creating pieces to be worn by both male and female customers. Some designers are focused on unisex cuts, others on fabrics that are wearable for ladies and gents alike, and it’s getting harder to tell at first sight which items have been created for which gender. However, maybe you don’t even care about all that, because what you want is a special piece of clothing that goes with your personality regardless of whether you’re a boy or a girl.

This designer has stolen our hearts, particularly with her knitwear, and despite having only released two collections so far, we can already tell that she’s an expert of colors and patterns. She’s not shy about using knitted textiles or unusual cuts, as evidenced by her latest capsule collection. With the New Order series, she’s ventured off the beaten path a little bit: this is her first time working not only with knits, but also with printed fabrics, and she’s also added a male line to her female-dominated repertoire. The inspiration for her new collection comes from the typical graphics of computer games, with all of her sweaters, shirts, skirts and pants – as well as Laoni bags, of course – made from the same materials for both male and female customers.

The designer behind this foxy brand is Lilla Fufavi, who’s been creating women’s fashion for eight years. With her pieces showcased all over the world from London to Tokyo, the young visionary has recently come out with a jacket collection comprising items suitable for both ladies and gentlemen. Every style is made of exceptionally practical and waterproof fabrics of the highest possible quality, and the best thing is that they can all be worn inside-out, too. One side of the neatly tailored jackets is a more muted color, while the other side is beautifully vivid. Nothing’s set in stone, so if you don’t like any of the existing combinations, you can pick your favorite duo from a color chart. The concept of Back to the FOX hinges on the opposite poles and dichotomies inherent in all of us, which basically means that you don’t have to go home to change before you go out for the evening, even if you’re required to wear a more modest look during the day.

Designing underwear is a challenge that not many Hungarian brands dare to take on, but it is where art graduate Kata Urbán and economist Nóra Borsics have found their niche in the market. By their own admission, the reason they started making their own boyshorts, a unisex style that looks just as good on girls as it does on boys, is because they thought traditional women’s underwear needed a cool and edgy alternative. Created in the spirit of (e)quality, the shorts have been released as parts of a number of collections: the first called Sun Up features lots of sunshine yellow and original prints with armies of tin soldiers from our childhood. The girls want to design comfy and functionally perfect undergarments, which can make their customers feel special at the same time.

Nebouxii

This colorful, fun, and absolutely out-of-the-box “sock workshop” will no doubt be a firm favorite among sock lovers. The 14 different kinds of vibrant footwear are manufactured in a countryside factory based on the sketches of a talented graphic artist. The best way to don these bright in-your-face designs is to let them peek out from under the hem of your pants, or to leave them entirely exposed. Don’t expect to find less-intense items in their collection, but if you prefer socks that are more experimental and out there, you can choose mismatched pairs that are super stylish and somehow go perfectly together. Named after the blue-footed marine bird Sula nebouxii, these trendy foot accessories are available in both male and female sizes. Embrace the daring prints of Nebouxii, and save yourself the trouble that inevitably comes with the impossible task of finding matching socks.

These are timelessly elegant everyday items made from lovely soft leather and other natural materials. We would be happy to own any of the unisex belts, wallets, and the various bags designed for storing a wide selection of electronic gadgets, but our absolute favorite is the collection of tablet and laptop covers made with wool felt and cow leather. The outside looks pretty promising, but it’s the inside that truly counts: the supple leather lining and the layer of sponge added for extra protection will convince even the pickiest customers that these items are some of the most exquisitely crafted and most durable ones on the Hungarian market. The leather ages beautifully, the felt doesn’t pill, and the two fabrics blend as harmoniously as yin and yang. The pieces have been designed for Apple products, but can be manufactured to fit other devices upon request.
