Yes, the 2015 season of
Valyo!Part
is about to start! This year’s Valyo will feature several different venues, so keep your eye out to make sure that whichever part of the Danube bank you’re visiting is transformed into Valyo!Part for that specific time.
The aim of Valyo - Város és a Folyó Egyesület is to reinterpret the banks of the Danube within the limits of Budapest and to highlight the potential, and the liveable and sustainable use of the riverbanks. In 2013 and 2014 Valyo!Part took place by Chain Bridge, shedding light on such values that the organizers want more and more people to find out about. They’ll set up two new locations every month from May to September to shine the spotlight on the captivating parts of the Danube bank and the different ways of their use promoted by the Valyo project.
The first event of the series is connected to the
Danube Regatta
, and will feature almost every kind of activity. Other things you can expect over the summer:
games, stone skipping, concerts, movies, DJs, workshops
and the Danube, of course.
