There are countless
DJ/producers
in the world whose biographies are full of no-name record labels you have never heard of. Not the case with DPN. If you read through the labels which have released their tracks, your mildest reaction will be amazement.
Get Physical, Is It Balearic, Future Classic, Eskimo, Best Kept Secret (Dessous), Futureboogie, Dirt Crew
. All of them A category tracks, performed by the biggest names, such as
Sasha, Laurent Garnier, Dixon, Groove Armada
and
Tensnake
. What is more, in October 2013 DPN’s Space Me Out became one of the most charted tracks on Residentadvisor.
The rewarding task of
warming up
the audience this time has been assigned to
Grabo'sky
(known as Grabowsky before a German rock band saw him as competition and made him change his name), who should already be known by all Hungarian electronic music fans. He is an excellent
house/disco
DJ and producer with a love for
funk, hip-hop
, psychedelic rock and many other genres. He has been DJing since 1997, and has written his own material since 2011. His eclectic style is reflected by the fact that he has made an edit of a Pearl Jam track, and has reinterpreted in line with his own taste the songs of legendary disco producer Cerrone, German krautrock band Can, Klári Katona, V'Moto-Rock, Kimnowak and East. His first original EP called Wurmloch came out last year, followed by the EP Solaris from Spacewalker Recordings. This time he will get the chance to show off his DJ skills before the Lithuanian producer comes on. You can expect an exciting, synthesizer and funk filled warmup set from him.
