Pál Utca Fiúk
was founded by friends and school-mates during the summer of 1983 in Szigetszentmiklós. The band’s now 25 year long career started from a garage. As a street band of kids they chose their instruments by flipping a coin. They released their first album in 1990 and continued to release records until 1994. By then, as a famous group, they played at Budapest Sportcsarnok. After multiple members came and go, they slowed down and returned to the shadows of smaller clubs during the second half of the ’90s.
Pál Utca Fiúk
still played live shows and with the release of their “Ha jön az élet” album, the 18 year old band grew up. Following their silent year after their 20th anniversary, they started to play again and they started to work in the studio in 2008. The 25 year old Pál Utcai Fiúk opened a new chapter in the band’s life with their “Legelő” album. The record was full of life, mixed with some lyrical songs – and it made the band famous again. They are playing shows regularly and are working on a new record.
